Introduction<\/strong><br>Dar Rana is a guesthouse welcoming travelers in a warm and authentic setting. These terms set out the conditions for booking, cancellation, stay, and payment for all our guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Bookings<\/strong><br>Bookings can be made via:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our official website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By phone or e-mail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Through partner booking platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A booking confirmation is sent upon receipt of a deposit or full payment, depending on the payment method chosen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These terms and conditions apply to bookings made directly with Dar Rana (official website, phone, e-mail). For any booking made through a partner platform (Booking.com, Airbnb, Gens de Confiance, or other), the payment, modification, and cancellation terms specific to that platform take precedence over these terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Rates<\/strong><br>Room prices are listed in euros (\u20ac) and are tax-inclusive, unless otherwise stated. Rates may vary depending on the season, number of guests, and current promotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A tourist tax of 20 Moroccan dirhams (MAD) per night applies in addition. It is payable on-site, in cash and in dirhams, before departure, and is not included in the displayed price of the stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Payment Terms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A 30% deposit is required to confirm any booking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The balance is payable upon arrival or as agreed at the time of booking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accepted payment methods are: cash, bank transfer (account details provided on request), secure online payment (if available).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5. Security Deposit<\/strong><br>A security deposit may be requested upon arrival, either as a credit card pre-authorization or a cash deposit of 5,000 MAD, to cover any loss, deterioration, or damage caused to the establishment&#8217;s property during the stay. This deposit is returned in full upon departure, after inspection of the premises, less the cost of any damage found, if applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6. Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cancellation between 30 and 7 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit is retained.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival, or no-show: the deposit is non-refundable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Specific conditions may apply to group bookings or during high season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>7. Check-in and Check-out<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check-in: from 2:00 PM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check-out: before 12:00 PM (noon)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any request for early arrival or late departure must be communicated in advance and is subject to availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>8. House Rules<\/strong><br>For everyone&#8217;s comfort:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pets are not allowed, except by prior arrangement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All guests are asked to respect the quiet and the premises.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The maximum occupancy of each room is specified at the time of booking; any undeclared additional guest may be subject to an extra charge or refused entry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access for outside visitors not registered as guests is subject to the prior approval of the establishment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar Rana reserves the right to end, without notice or refund, the stay of any guest whose behavior endangers the safety, tranquility, or property of the establishment or of other guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>9. Liability<\/strong><br>Dar Rana accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings on the premises. A safe may be made available upon request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>10. Force Majeure<\/strong><br>Dar Rana shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfil its obligations resulting from a case of force majeure, including but not limited to: natural disasters, epidemics, decisions by public authorities, prolonged water or power outages, strikes, or transport disruptions. In such cases, Dar Rana will endeavor to offer an alternative solution (rescheduling the stay, a credit voucher) or will refund the amounts paid, without further liability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guests may also invoke a duly documented case of force majeure (flight cancellation, hospitalization, etc.) to request more flexible cancellation terms than those set out in Article 6, at Dar Rana&#8217;s discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>11. Personal Data<\/strong><br>In accordance with Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, Dar Rana informs its guests that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the data collected (name, contact details, booking information) is used solely for managing the booking, the stay, and the guest relationship;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>it is retained for 3 years after the last stay, unless a longer retention period is legally required (accounting, guest registry);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>it is not shared with any third party, except with competent authorities where required by law (notably the legal obligation to register guests);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>every guest has the right to access, correct, and delete their personal data, which they may exercise by writing to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:contact@darrana.ma\">contact@darrana.ma<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>12. Disputes<\/strong><br>In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first.
