Alain Delmas, a painter from Sète in residence in El Jadida between May and June 2022 as part of his twinning with Sète, did not fail to make a detour to Marrakech where he stayed at Dar Rana. He found his inspiration in the garden for a painting where he transcribed, in an energetic painting, all the power of nature.

In the nearby mountains, the bustling life of the weekly souk of Tnine Ourika stopped him long enough to freeze a scene of cattle sellers on another canvas.

Alain Delmas has exhibited his Moroccan-inspired works in the two twin cities of El Jadida and Sète.
Alain Delmas was born in 1943. He lives and works in Sète. A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Montpellier and the École Normale de Toulouse, he has devoted his life to the transmission of his passion: painting. He has been exhibiting since the 1960s. He was a student of Camille Descossy, Georges Dezeuze and Jean-Raymond Bessil, founders of the Montpellier-Sète art group in the 1960s.
